Yields: 4 servings

Here's what you need:

  • 3 pt. raspberries
  • ¼ c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice plus 1 lemon, sliced
  • ½ lb. strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ¼ c. basil leaves
  • 1 750-mL bottle wine

How to mix:

  1. In a pitcher, muddle 1 ½ pints raspberries with sugar and lemon juice. 
  2. Add strawberries, remaining 1 ½ pints raspberries, lemon slices, and basil. 
  3. Top with wine.

Total Prep Time: 4 Hours and 30 Minutes 

Here's what you need:

  • 2 c. sliced purple cabbage
  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 8 oz. tequila
  • 4 oz. triple sec
  • 3 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 c. lemonade
  • 4 lime wedges, for garnish
  • 1/4 c. kosher salt or coarse sea salt, for rim

How to mix:

  1. Place cabbage in a large heatproof bowl. Pour boiling water over cabbage and let sit for 5 minutes until water turns deep blue. Strain out cabbage and let water cool.
  2. When water is no longer hot, transfer to ice trays. Freeze until solid, 4 hours.
  3. In a medium pitcher or measuring cup, combine tequila with triple sec, lime juice, and lemonade. Wet rims of glasses with a lime wedge and dip in salt.
  4. Place purple ice cubes in glasses and divide margarita between them. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.

Here's what you need:

  • 8 mini pineapples (or two regular pineapples)
  • 12 oz. silver tequila
  • 8 oz. triple sec
  • ½ c. lime juice
  • 2 c. ice
  • Pineapple slices, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for garnish
  • Salt, for garnish

How to mix:

  1. Cut off pineapple tops. Using a spoon, remove the soft fruit from inside pineapples, creating cups. Reserve fruit for margaritas.
  2. In a blender, add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, reserved pineapple, and ice and blend until slushy.
  3. Fill the pineapple cup with drink and garnish with pineapple, salted lime wedges, and a paper umbrella.

Yields: 4 servings

Here's what you need:

  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 c. mango juice
  • 1 ½ c. tequila
  • ½ c. fresh lime juice
  • ¼ c. agave nectar or honey
  • 1 jalapeño, halved
  • Lime wedges, for serving

How to mix:

  1. On a plate, add chili powder, sugar and 1 tablespoon salt and mix.
  2. In a pitcher, add mango juice, tequila, lime juice, agave nectar and jalapeño, mix. Refrigerate for 1 to 3 hours until slightly spicy. Discard jalapeño. 
  3. When ready to serve, run a lime wedge along rims of 4 glasses and dip in sugar mixture to coat. Add ice to each glass and pour margarita mixture over it. Serve with lime wedges.

Here's what you need:

  • 15 oz. tomato juice
  • 6 oz. grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
  • 6 oz. orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 oz. lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 oz. Tabasco
  • 2 tsp. black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, halved (with seeds)

How to mix:

  1. Into a pitcher, add the tomato juice, grapefruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, Tabasco, black pepper, salt and jalapeño pepper and stir until the salt dissolves.
  2. Let stand for 15 to 30 minutes, then remove and discard the jalapeño. (The longer the jalapeño infuses, the spicier the Sangrita will be.)
  3. Serve as an accompaniment to a shot of tequila.
  4. Store any remaining Sangrita in the refrigerator.
