- In a nonstick skillet, add canola oil, and cook patties on medium heat. Cook the patties for 7 minutes per side or until cooked through.
- Top each patty with 1 slice Cheddar cheese; Remove the skillet from heat and cover it to melt the cheese.
- Serve on burger buns topped with sliced onions and shredded lettuce.
