Here's what you need:

  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup butter, cubed
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can (10-1/2 oz.) condensed chicken broth, undiluted
  • 3/4 cup 2% milk
  • 2 cups cubed cooked turkey
  • 1 cup cooked peas
  • 1 cup cooked whole baby carrots
  • 1 tube (16.3 oz.) large, refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Here's how to prepare:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°. In a 10-in. cast-iron or other ovenproof skillet, sauté onion in butter until tender. Stir in the flour, salt, and pepper until blended. Gradually add broth and milk. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly, about 2 minutes. Add the turkey, peas and carrots, heat through. Separate biscuits and arrange over the stew.
  2. Bake until biscuits are golden brown, 20-25 minutes.

Here's what you need:

  • 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 6 oz. andouille sausage, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. tomato paste
  • 2 c. low-sodium chicken stock
  • 1 (15-oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 c. long grain rice
  • 2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Here's how to prepare:

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and bell peppers and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until soft, then stir in chicken and season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Cook for about 5 minutes until the chicken is golden, then stir in andouille sausage, garlic, and tomato paste and cook for about 1 minute more until fragrant.
  2. Add chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, rice, and Old Bay. Reduce heat to medium low, cover with a tight-fitting lid, and cook for about 20 minutes until the rice is tender, and the liquid is almost absorbed.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until pink.
  4. Stir in green onions just before serving.

  • 1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 (15-oz) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • TOPPINGS
  • Shredded cheddar
  • Sour cream
  • Thinly sliced green onions

Here's how to prepare:

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook for about 5 minutes until soft. Stir in garlic and cook for about 1 minute more until fragrant, then add tomato paste, stirring to combine. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Drain fat and return to heat.
  2. Add chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, cayenne (if using), and season generously with salt and pepper. Pour in kidney beans and crushed tomatoes and bring chili to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Season with more salt and pepper, if necessary.
  3. Ladle into bowls and top with cheddar, sour cream, and green onions.

  • 3 lb. potatoes, peeled and cut into ½ - inch cubes (8 cups)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 jar (7 oz.) roasted sweet red peppers, drained, and chopped
  • 1 small celery rib, chopped
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. seasoned salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. rubbed sage
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp. minced fresh cilantro

Here's how to prepare:

  1. Place the first 9 ingredients in a 5- or 6-qt. slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low 5-6 hours or until potatoes are tender.
  2. Mix flour and 1/2 cup cream until smooth; stir into soup. Stir in 3/4 cup cheese and the bacon, cilantro and remaining cream. Cook, covered, on low until slightly thickened, about 30 minutes. Serve with remaining cheese.
